Well you've found us, you may have seen a sticker in a car, or heard words from other members, you may have followed a signature link from a members forum post. The important thing is you're here.
If you've not gathered by now this is the improved Stamford Modified Vehicle Owners Club (smvoc for short) website, we're a Modified Vehicle Owners Club and we cater for Stamford and the surrounding areas...
Surprisingly for a small town,
we've got an active community, with an average of 20 people per week
(and not always the same faces I might add) at our weekly Pub meets at
the Whistlestop Pub in Tallington.
We
don't "do" standard vehicles...well not for long anyway, we've all got
differnt cars and are into different things, but they're all our own.
And that makes us truely unique.
We come from all walks of life, we're all of differing ages, we all drive different cars, but we share one passion.
What
our vehicles are to us is more than just a vehicle, it's a reflection
of who we are.. some of us are rough round the edges but are
purposeful, for others it's all about surving in the modern world...
that means modernising and adapting.. it can be a jungle out on the
road and the track, some of us concentrate on appearance.. we like to
look sharp, whilst others just like to be heard..
